Seattle Seahawks defensive end Bruce Irvin will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Irvin suffered the injury during Seattle’s week two victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll described Irvin’s injury as just a knee injury following the game and noted that Irvin had been walking around.

Irvin now joins offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste and receivers David Sills V and Tavon Austin as former Mountaineers in the NFL now on the IR for this season.
