Report: Oklahoma and Texas Look Into Potential Move to Southeastern Conference
According to a report from Brent Zwerneman of the Houston Chronicle, Oklahoma and Texas have both reached out to the Southeastern Conference ahead of a potential move to the conference, with an announcement potentially coming in the next few weeks regarding the situation.
A move of such magnitude, the two biggest schools in the Big 12 jumping to the SEC, would certainly be a blow that the conference would likely not be able to recover from without serious re-configuring. Even then, would schools like West Virginia, Iowa State and others look for a way out?

While the thought of Oklahoma and Texas moving conferences is certainly a concern for the future of the conference, the logistics in a move for one or both schools are likely complicated. The discussion will likely continue to broaden as more information regarding the situation comes to light.
For now, Oklahoma and Texas are Big 12 schools, and that will not change this season.
