A legacy coach is moving on from West Virginia to advance his career.

He confirmed the news by quote tweeting a report about the move on Sunday.

Nehlen has been serving as an offensive analyst for the Mountaineers since 2018, working under both Dana Holgorsen and Neal Brown. His main role as a coach at WVU was to break down film.

Nehlen played receiver at West Virginia from 2011-12, totaling 12 receptions for 101 yards and scoring two touchdowns.
