UIC Transfer F Toby Okani Includes WVU in Top 5
Illinois-Chicago forward Toby Okani has included West Virginia in his top five list, he tells Derek Murray. Okani recently visited WVU’s campus this past weekend with a couple of Drake transfers.
Okani is also considering LSU, Pepperdine, St. Bonaventure and Virginia. The grad transfer has visited St. Bonaventure and WVU so far while having visits to LSU and Virginia scheduled for the next week.

Okani (6-foot-8) averaged 11.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.0 blocks through 33 games. Okani shot 39% from the field, 32% from three and 57% from the free throw line.
Okani has one year of eligibility remaining. The Orange, Nj. native entered the transfer portal while considering the NBA Draft. Okani began his career at Duquesne for his first two seasons.
WVU has landed one transfer commitment in Tucker DeVries so far this offseason losing Josiah Harris (F), Seth Wilson (G), Patrick Suemnick (F) and Kerr Kriisa (G). WVU also has a high school commitment from former Drake signee KJ Tenner.
Drake transfer Conor Enright, who visited West Virginia with Okani, committed to DePaul on Sunday night. Atin Wright, another visiting Drake transfer, is still considering his recruitment.
