Versatile 2024 ATH Commits to WVU Football Over Other P5 Schools

WVU Football commit Ja’Quan Bostic

Score a recruiting win for the WVU football program. Jay’Quan Bostic, a class of 2024 athlete out of Ohio, commits to West Virginia over a bunch of other Power 5 schools.

Bostic (6-foot-3, 180 pounds) has experience playing both wide receiver and defensive back at Taft High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. The rest of his top 6 included Cincinnati, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Michigan and Michigan State.

Up until June official visits, Bostic was also considering Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Pitt and Syracuse. He completed his official visit with West Virginia a couple weeks ago.

247Sports rates Bostic as the 1,068th-ranked recruit in the class (138th-ranked wide receiver and the 45th-ranked recruit from Ohio) while On3 rates him as the 1,009th-ranked recruit in the class (141st-ranked wide receiver and the 39th-ranked recruit from Ohio).
