WVU Football Recruiting
Complete List of High School Recruits Offered by WVU Football

To say the WVU football program has been putting in a lot of recruiting work since the end of the 2022 season would be an understatement. West Virginia is looking to follow up a solid 2023 recruiting class with an even better group in 2024. This in hopes of getting the Mountaineer back to glory on a consistent basis.
Because, we at WV Sports Now, understand how difficult it can be to keep up with college football recruiting, especially when you mix in the transfer portal, we curated most of the offers WVU has sent out of to high school players.
Below includes a brief description of some of the top rated players and then a complete list spreadsheet (in no particular order). Note: Click on the name to find an update or a WVSN exclusive interview with the recruit.

Samaj Jones, Pennsylvania’s top rated 2024 quarterback prospect, is seriously considering WVU. Jones, a four-star recruit who attends the prestigious St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia has narrowed his school choice down to a top four, and the Mountaineers made the list.
West Virginia is in the running with Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and Penn State. Listed at 5-foot-11 and 203 pounds, Jones is the eighth-ranked player in Pennsylvania, the No 22 quarterback and the No. 371 player nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

He was previously considering Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Duke, Virginia Tech and many others.
Keelan “KJ” Flowe (2024 Safety – 5-foot-11, 170 pounds)
Keelan “KJ” Flowe, a Charlotte, North Carolina native, is an athletic safety, who also has offensive experience at wide receiver.

Jamison Kitna is a class of 2025 quarterback who spent his sophomore season at Burleson High School in Burleson, Texas and will spend his junior season at Lakota East High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is garnering plenty of attention around the country and even a three-star rating despite having two high school seasons left to play. But Kitna, maybe unlike some of his peers has been preparing for this process his entire life.
Javier Etheridge (2024 3-Star WR/CB – 5-foot-10, 165 pounds)
The WVU football program has been awarded the green light to keep pursuing Javier Etheridge. This is thanks to the three-star athlete placing the Mountaineers among his top 6 schools. Etheridge plays on both sides of the ball at wide receiver and cornerback.
