INDIANAPOLIS – The only West Virginia product at the NFL combine this year, former Mountaineer left tackle Colton McKivitz spoke to the media Wednesday afternoon. McKivitz said the entire experience has been great and that he is taking it one step at a time. He has had both formal and informal meetings with different NFL teams.

McKivitz said he returned to WVU for his senior season specifically to get stronger in the weight room and he believes he accomplished just that. Since the WVU season ended in November, McKivitz said he has been training in Arizona since before Christman, leaving only to participate in the Senior Bowl in January.
