Watch: Javon Small Turns Missed Dunk Into 3 Points
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU’s Javon Small showed exactly why you should never give up on a play during the Mountaineers’ game against Iona on Wednesday.
With a clear path to the hoop, Small attempted to throw down a monstrous dunk mid-way through the first half inside the WVU Coliseum. An Iona defender got up and rejected the slam, but Small kept up with the play, scooping up the ball and running out to the three-point line. With no one around, Small let it fly and turned the failed dunk into three points.
Worked out perfectly 😉
