West Virginia Among FIU Transfer WR Tyrese Chambers’ Top 8

Transfer wide receiver Tyrese Chambers is seriously considering the Mountaineer.
The former FIU receive, who West Virginia offeredย to upon his decision to enter the transfer portal, announced that WVU is now among his top eight schools.

Colorado, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Arizona State, UCF, Toledo and Maryland are listed along with WVU.
His career at FIU will go down as the most prolific in school history. Chambers set records in receiving yards and touchdowns in a season in 2021. His production did dip to only posting 544 yards this season despite catching 6 more balls than the prior year.
Chambersโ big play ability will likely garner attention from several other Power 5 programs. In addition to the Mountaineers, Chambers also tweeted about offers from Arizona State, Louisville, Georgia Southern, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State and Western Kentucky.
The only concern for Chambers about WVU would be fitting into a wide receiver group that could bring most of its core back and is set to include several solid recruits.
