West Virginia is searching far and wide, including within its own conference, when it comes to trying to add transfer players. This is especially true of wide receivers and made evident when the Mountaineers jumped in the mix for a player only a couple hours after he announced he was in the portal.

Jaden Bray revealed WVU as one of the programs to send him an offer on his first day available. He would bring experience and production with him to his next team.

Bray made 30 receptions for 382 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Cowboys in 2023. Fellow Big 12 member Cincinnati also offered Bray. Washington State and USF are in the mx with interest as well.

WVU head coach Neal Brown mentioned receiver as one of the key positions West Virginia would be looking to fill with transfers when he spoke with the media last week.
