West Virginia Shows Interest in Texas Transfer Tre Mitchell
West Virginia is showing interest in Texas transfer Tre Mitchell, as Jon Rothstein reported on Friday afternoon.
Mitchell has also received interest from DePaul, Iowa, Vanderbilt, Utah State and Washington State.

Mitchell (6-foot-9, 240 pounds) averaged 8.7 points and 4.0 rebounds during his only season in Austin. In February, Mitchell took a leave of absence from the program, not returning to the team for the remainder of the season. The Pittsburgh native is a two-time All-Atlantic 10 Team recipient. Mitchell averaged 18.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in two seasons at Massachusetts.
Mitchell has two years of eligibility remaining. WV Sports Now will keep up to date with the latest recruiting and transfer portal news during the offseason.
