WVU Interested in West Virginia Native and DePaul Transfer David Jones

As West Virginia continues to seek out their final roster spot, they have shown interest in DePaul transfer David Jones. It was first reported by Travis Branham of 247 Sports.
Jones has also received interest from Illinois, Maryland, Ohio State and Oregon.

Jones (6-foot-6, 195 pounds) is a native of Scott Depot, playing high school basketball at Teays Valley Christian. Jones committed to DePaul in 2020. This past season, Jones averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks in 28 games. Jones shot 45 percent from the field for the Blue Demons.
