Will LeBlanc’s Under the Radar Impact | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.
Will LeBlanc played the first two seasons of his career at Division II UT Permian Basin, breaking into the starting lineup at nose tackle last season. 6-foot-5 and 288 pounds, LeBlanc has the length and weight to close multiple gaps on the interior line. While he only recorded 32 tackles last season (13 of them solo), many nose tackles provide a supplemental presence, impeding the running game long enough for his linebackers to rush in and make a stop.
LeBlanc will need to step up his game to make the leap from Division II to Power Four football, so don’t expect him to start right away in a defensive line room with 15 other members… but the fact that he managed to start as a redshirt freshman indicates an advanced talent level, one that will help him as he settles in at WVU.

Stats: 32 tackles (13 solo), five tackles for loss, four hurries and 1.5 sacks.
Post-Camp Outlook: LeBlanc has to prove he can go head to head with Power Four offensive linemen… but with three seasons of college eligibility remaining, he has plenty of time to do that.
Projected Role: Nose tackles have less snaps to go around than other members of the defensive line because many of them sub out of the game on passing downs. That might limit LeBlanc’s chance at playing time, but it’s also important to keep the big guys fresh. Don’t be surprised if he checks into the game from time to time.
Accolades, Highlights: While he was unranked as a high school recruit, LeBlanc earned a three-star rating from 247Sports as a transfer. His ability to start as a redshirt freshman speaks to his latent ability.
