WVSN Notebook 8/22/23: Basketball Transfer Enrolls at WVU

The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning WVU Athletics.
Update (4:30 PM) –
West Virginia will compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis Invitational during the 2024-25 season, as reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. WVU joins a field of eight that includes Arizona, Creighton, Davidson, Gonzaga, Indiana, Louisville and Oklahoma.
Update (3:10 PM) –
EMU transfer Noah Farrakhan has enrolled at West Virginia, WVU interim HC Josh Eilert announced on Tuesday afternoon. According to the University’s press release, Farrakhan’s eligibility status for the 2023-24 season will be determined at a later date.
