On Wednesday, West Virginia University baseball announced the addition of a 25th home game added to the 2020 schedule at Monongalia County Ballpark.

The Mountaineers will face Kent State on Wednesday, March 4 with first-pitch being at 4 p.m. Admission to the game will be free for all fans.

The two teams will meet for the 35th time in their series history with the Golden Flashes with the overall lead in the series of 20-14.

Officials said it also marks the second consecutive season the two schools will play in Morgantown. In 2019, WVU swept Kent State in a three-game series with West Virginia earning wins of 6-2, 8-4 and 9-7.
