For the first time in nearly a year, spectators will be welcomed back to Mongolia County Ballpark next month as West Virginia athletics announced Monday morning that single-game tickets for WVU home baseball games will go on sale.

Capacity at the ballpark will be capped at 600 and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve, priority basis.

WVU is scheduled to stay home for all 15 of its games during the month of March, one of the longest homestands in program history. The Mountaineers’ home-opener will be on Friday March 5, the first of a three-game series against the Kent State Golden Flashes. WVU’s March schedule also includes a game against Marshall and home series versus Central Michigan, Morehead State, Coastal Carolina and the Big 12 conference opener against Kansas.

Tickets for future games in April and May will be released at a later date, according to the university’s release.
