WVU Basketball Exhibition Game at Maryland Date Announced

WVU basketball will play an exhibition game against Maryland on Oct. 18, Maryland announced in a release.

This news was initially shared by WVU head coach Ross during his most recent press conference Friday.

WVU played against Maryland in a closed scrimmage last year, where senior guards Treysen Eaglestaff and Honor Huff combined for 55 points in a 95-73 win.

In Hodge’s first year, West Virginia finished the season at 18-14 with a 9-10 Big 12 record, including 0-1 in the conference tournament. The Mountaineers finished with three straight wins, culminating in a College Basketball Crown Championship.

Maryland endured a rough season in Buzz Williams’ debut season, going 12-21 and winning only four games in Big Ten play.
