WVU basketball is ranked No. 14 in the final ESPN men’s basketball recruiting class rankings, listed by Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi.

The list only includes incoming freshmen, as WVU’s class is marked by guard Miles Sadler, center Amadou Seini, center Aliou Dioum and guard Keonte Greybear. On top of being No. 14 overall, WVU is the fifth-ranked Big 12 team behind Kansas, Oklahoma State, BYU and Arizona.

Biancardi listed Sadler as the team’s most important recruit.

“Sadler, who was terrific at the Nike Hoop Summit, chose the Mountaineers over a list that also included Tennessee, Oklahoma, Maryland, UCLA and USC,” Biancardi wrote. “He’s an elite playmaker, capable of finishing himself or getting his teammates involved. He’s difficult for defenders to stay in front of, due to his speed and ability to read the game. His defense will also be an immediate asset.”

Three of WVU’s commits are from Bella Vista Prep, which Sadler led to a Chipotle Nationals Championship.
