WVU Basketball Receives Commitment From St. John’s Guard Joson Sanon
WVU basketball received a commitment from former St. John’s guard Joson Sanon on Sunday, per Joe Tipton.
Sanon, a 6-foot-5 guard, appeared in 32 games while starting 11 as a sophomore last season for SJU, averaging 7.2 points and 2.1 rebounds on 20.5. minutes per game. He is no stranger to the Big 12, as he played his freshman season at Arizona State in 2024-25, averaging 11.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Sanon had also heard from Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, NC State, Texas A&M, UCLA, Mississippi State, Georgetown, Texas Tech and Texas.

if pitino doesn’t want him,, ross better stop and thinnk this over,,, i think it’s a bad hire,,,,
pitino is one ofthe greatest coaches ever,, and he doesn’t want to waste any money on him,,,,,,, i’ll go with pitino over ross any day of the week,
we were going so well in our recruiting ,and then this,,, and he does’nt look like anything special…
these players are dime a dozen,,,, get real ross, quit wasting money,, use your head,,, think ,,,,
