On Monday afternoon, WVU basketball staff offered 2026 forward Vincent Osazee out of Reason Prep Academy. Osazee is a 6-foot-7 prospect from Massachusetts.

“Blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia,” Osazee wrote on X (Twitter).

Osazee has received offers from Arizona State, Bryant, Central Michigan, Creighton, George Mason, High Point, Howard, LSU, NJIT, Rutgers, St. John’s, UCF, UMass-Lowell, UNLV, West Virginia and others.

Osazee also visited Texas in June and has interest from other high-major programs.

Osazee is listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals and has not been ranked yet by 247 Sports but should be around a three or four star consensus recruit.

Over the weekend, West Virginia associate head coach Chester Frazier extended an offer to 2026 guard Rassell Young from Huntington Prep.

Young transferred from Mallard Creek High School (NC) to Huntington Prep in June. Young has offers so far from Appalachian State, Charlotte, College of Charleston, East Carolina, Hampton, High Point, Illinois, Mississippi State, Ohio, Radford, West Virginia and others.

Young has played his first two years of high school basketball on the varsity team. In 31 career games, Young is averaging 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists on 42% shooting.
