Becoming the latest future Mountaineer to commit to WVU football, wide receiver Brock Burrus joined the 2027 class on Thursday.

Rated a three-star by national recruiting services, Burrus, listed at 6-foot-5 and 180 pounds, is a product of Kell High School in Atlanta, Ga. He’s also a nephew of Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart.

Burrus expressed excitement after a trip to Morgantown in March, one that came after WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett visited him at his home in Georgia in late January.

“Great trip in Morgantown today! Had me singing Country Roads! 🏔️🎶 See you guys this summer!,” posted Burrus on X (formerly Twitter).

Arizona State, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse, UConn, USF, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin highlight the rest of his offers.
