WVU Football Becomes Latest P4 Program to Offer 4-Star DL
In the midst of working the portal for the upcoming season, the WVU football staff is also looking at the future beyond 2025. And one of West Virginia’s latest moves towards future recruiting was sending an offer to a four-star defensive lineman.
2027 prospect Donivan Moore announced he received an offer from West Virginia on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound Moore Alabama native out of Hueytown High School has been garnering attention from various Power Four programs in recent months.

Moore already has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee, USC, Vanderbilt and others outside the major conferences as well.
Moore, viewed as a defensive tackle by some and more of a defensive end by others, is a consensus four-star recruit and considered a top five player in Alabama by every major national recruiting service.
