WVU Football Extends Offer to 2027 WR Out of NFL Academy
In their effort to search far and wide for talent, the WVU football staff extended an offer to a wide receiver out of the NFL Academy program.
A native of Germany, Jamil Secka added West Virginia to his offer list on April 2. He then thanked WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez and wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett for the opportunity publicly on social media.
Secka, listed at 6-foot and 175 pounds, also has experience at cornerback and as a returner.
USF was the first notable school to show an interest in Secka, sending him an offer in June of 2025.
Secka posted a YouTube video with highlights from his 2025 junior season a day before he received an offer from the Mountaineers.
