The mantra goes that football is a game won up front in the trenches, and WVU Football might’ve kept that in mind when they offered a pair of four-star offensive linemen in the class of 2027 on Sunday, June 15.

The Mountaineers enjoyed a busy Sunday, picking up a series of commitments, but that didn’t stop them from working the phones as well, offering offensive tackle Q’Mari “Big Q” Hudson and offensive lineman Brody McNeel, a pair of recruits from Virginia.

Hudson stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 300 pounds, possessing the massive 6-foot-11 wingspan needed to seal off the edge of the pocket against an edge rusher’s attacks.

247Sports ranks Hudson as the No. 278 recruit in his class and a composite four-star. His other offers include

McNeel, another offensive tackle, stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 275 pounds. On3 ranks him as the top offensive lineman in the Old Dominion: he also holds offers from Kentucky, Michigan State and Virginia Tech, among others.

The Mountaineers also began to work the phones with a pair of 2027 recruits, contacting 6-foot-4, 245 pound tight end Jake Lund and four-star 2027 tight end Landon Wolny now that the official contact period has opened.
