WVU Football Follows Penn State by Offering 2026 New Jersey DL

For a WVU Football recruiting update, the Mountaineers sent an offer to a defensive lineman on Monday.

Class of 2026 prospect Damari Simeon revealed his West Virginia offer, saying “I’m blessed to receive my ninth offer from West Virginia University!!!” on X (formerly Twitter).

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds, Simeon attends the prestigious St. Augustine Prep High School in Egg Harbor Township, N.J.

In addition to defensive line coach Andrew Jackson, offensive coordinator Chad Scott is involved in recruiting Simeon due to him falling in his recruiting territory.

Beyond this offer from the Mountaineers, Simeon has also received offers from a mix of small schools and major programs. Boston College, Buffalo, Duke, Massachusetts, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and Temple. Simeon has his Penn State offer pinned to the top of his X profile.
