WVU Football Sends Offer to 2027 Georgia DB

Despite a new season fast approaching, the WVU football staff still has the future of the program in mind as well. To that end, a recruit announced he received an offer from the West Virginia on Saturday.

Emerson “Em” Lewis, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound recruit out of Savannah, Ga., posted about the offer on X (formerly Twitter). Lewis attends Calvary Day School as a 2027 product.

Even though Lewis is being recruited as a defensive back, most national recruiting outlets list him as an athlete due to his versatility.

Prior to the WVU offer, Lewis earned an offer from Indiana earlier in the month. In addition to his July offers, Lewis has offers from schools like Georgia State, SMU and Western Kentucky.

Lewis took part in the Cam Newton Foundation seven-on-seven event in March.
