WVU Football Hoping to Provide Opportunity for Texas A&M Transfer TE
Can the new WVU football staff work their magic and land another Texas A&M transfer? Already having locked up quarterback Jaylen Henderson, West Virginia is also pursuing his teammate with the Aggies Donovan Green.
Green even posted about his visit on Thursday, asking if WVU should be his new home. “What do you think, WVU football? Am I home?,” said Green.ย

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Green would provide another offensive weapon and more tight end depth. He’s also hungry to join a program that will allow him to be part of its offense.
Green made 22 receptions for 233 yards and scored two touchdowns in 2022 before suffering an ACL injury that cost him his 2023 season. He was then relegated to mostly special teams in 2024 and entered the transfer portal on New Year’s Eve.
Green was a four-star recruit out of Dickinson High School in Dickinson, Texas.
Iowa transfer tight end Johnny Pascuzzi has already committed to join Rich Rodriguez and West Virginia.
