WVU Football Hosting 2025 QB Commit Out of Ohio

WVU Football QB commit Scotty Fox

The WVU football program is hosting a quarterback commit this weekend. Scotty Fox revealed that he would be spending time in Morgantown on Friday.

Fox (6-foot-2, 215 pounds), a class of 2025 quarterback out Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio, announced his commitment to WVU after a win during the 2023 season following the game. Fox posted a graphic on social media and added “committed!!!” as the simple caption.

Fox, who initially received an offer from West Virginia back in May, has remained in steady contact with the WVU coaching staff. He even recently visited on Jan. 20.

Fox also earned offers from several other major programs, but is locking in with the Mountaineers despite having multiple seasons of high school left. Boston College, Kentucky, Indiana, Marshall, Michigan State and even the team West Virginia beat on Saturday Cincinnati are among the schools who offered Fox.
