Highly Coveted 2025 DL Recruit Considering WVU Football on Visit in West Virginia
Just a few days after including West Virginia as one of his top 12 schools, class of 2025 defensive line recruit Wilnerson Telemaque is on a trip to visit the WVU football program.
Telemaque, a three-star prospect out of Monsignor Pace High School in Miami, Fla., posted a pin emoji along side a mention of the WVU football account to signify he touched down in Morgantown on Friday night.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound edge rusher ranks as the No. 54 defensive lineman and the No. 83 Florida based player, according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings. He’s been labeled a three-star recruit by both 247 Sports and Rivals.
In addition to West Virginia, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Pitt, Texas A&M and USF are all still in the running for Telemaque. WVU initially sent Telemaque an offer Sept. 25.

He’s also still receiving offers from other major programs, most notably from SMU and Texas A&M this week. And there’s a reason why so many schools are interested in landing Telemaque. In just eight games during his 2023 junior season, he recorded 16 tackles, three tackles for a loss, three sacks, three quarterback hurries and one pass deflection.
As is the case with most Florida players regardless of position, WVU wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall is leading the recruiting charge to impress Telemaque.
