WVU Football Lands in Top 5 of 2025 DB/WR Virginia HS Recruit
A recruit who could help fill one of the positions West Virginia’s staff is focusing on has placed the WVU football program in his top five.
Knahlij Harrell (6-foot, 165 pounds) included the Mountaineers on his list with the likes of Army, Duke, East Carolina and Virginia Tech. Harrell, a class of 2025 product out of Virginia Beach, VA., has experience at both defensive back and wide receiver.
TOP 5 ‼️‼️ Blessings on blessings‼️The saying hard work pays off is truly real and I’m seeing the benefits of that. I’ve only dreamed to be in this position and I’m grateful. Right now , I feel confident in the connections that I’ve build with these coaches and schools. #LLAJ pic.twitter.com/dKcLAgBHSO

Being considered by Harrell continues to show WVU’s recruiting success in the Virginia area, especially with athletes at Green Run High School.
In addition to WVU and the rest of his top five, Harrell was weighing offers from schools like Appalachian State, Campbell, Coastal Carolina and Marshall.
