WVU Football Legacy Luke Braham Commits to Rival
An in-state prospect with WVU football blood will take his talents to a regional rival. Offensive lineman Luke Braham committed to Virginia Tech on Saturday night.
Braham, a 6-foot-2 and 260-pound 2027 product of Morgantown’s University High School, was recently offered by WVU.
He also attended numerous West Virginia camps over the past year and was considering joining his dad and older brother as Mountaineers. His dad, Rich, and older brother, Noah, both played for West Virginia.
Braham plays left tackle and even has experience at defensive end in high school.
Despite still trying to gain attention from national recruiting services, Braham had other Power Four opportunities besides Virginia Tech and WVU. He also had offers from Northwestern, Rutgers and Wake Forest. Braham has spent time with Michigan State as well.
Lower level schools like FAU, Kent State, Liberty and Marshall, which would have also allow him to play in the state of West Virginia, Ohio and Toledo also showed interest in Braham.
