The WVU football program is thinking about the future of the quarterback position by sending another offer to a prospect. Sean Ashenfelder, a class of 2025 product, becomes the latest recruit to receive an offer from the Mountaineers.

Ashenfelder tweeted about the offer Thursday morning by saying, “blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University!!” Listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, Ashenfelder attends Creekside High School in Saint Augustine, Florida.

The offer to Ashenfelder comes weeks after the WVU football program has been in steady communication with several quarterbacks in both the 2024 and 2025 classes.
