WVU Men Fall to No. 13 in Last AP Poll Before National Tournament

West Virginia has fallen three spots to No. 13 in one of the final AP top 25 Polls of this season.

WVU was in Kansas City to play in the Big 12 Tournament this past week but was knocked out in the first round in a second-straight loss to Oklahoma State Thursday morning. On Sunday, WVU was selected as a No. 3 seed for the upcoming men’s NCAA tournament. The Mountaineers will play No. 14 Morehead State in the first round of the Midwest region of the bracket Friday at 9:50 p.m.

Other Big 12 teams in the rankings this week include No. 3 Baylor, No. 9 Texas, No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Kansas and No. 21 Texas Tech. Oklahoma also received votes.
