Class of 2024 tight end hybrid Christian Bentancur announced on his Twitter account Monday night that he has received an offer from West Virginia University.
Bencantur, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound junior out of Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, Illinois, is a 4-star rated prospect according to Rivals and 247Sports.

With West Virginia added to the mix, Bentancur is now up to 33 Division I offers, including Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
As a sophomore at Marian Central Catholic, Bentancur hauled in 53 receptions for 1,165 yards and 16 touchdowns.
