West Virginia football recruit Dayshaun Burnett announced on his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon he will be attending the Mountaineers’ home opener against Kansas on Saturday.
Burnett, a member of the Class of 2025 at Imani Christian Academy in East Hills, Pennsylvania, received an official offer from West Virginia on Aug. 6, according to Twitter.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound sophomore currently sits at five Division I offers, including Pittsburgh, Penn State, Massachusetts and Akron, along with West Virginia. Burnett also attended the Backyard Brawl between the Mountaineers and Pittsburgh on Sept. 1.
Burnett has helped Imani Christian post a 1-1 record through its first two games of the 2022 season.
