MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Momentum continues to be all on the side of the Mountaineers as WVU-Pitt moves into the fourth quarter.

West Virginia now leads 17-6 after a field goal, but it was how the points happened that really ignited the crowd at Milan Puskar Stadium. Beanie Bishop picked off Pitt quarterback Phil Jurkovec that led to more points for the Mountaineers.

The interception was WVU’s second of the game. Aubrey Burks also helped get points on the board earlier in the first half with a pick of his own.
