Watch: Aubrey Burks Interception Sets up Kole Taylor TD for Lead Over Pitt
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU jumped out to a 7-3 lead with 4:45 remaining in the first half of play thanks to safety Aubrey Burks setting up the offense with great field position.
Trailing 3-0 with just under five minutes to go in the second quarter, Burks picked off Pitt quarterback Phil Jurkovec and returned the interception back to the Pitt seven-yard line.
Tight end Kole Taylor capped the drive five seconds later as Nicco Marchiol found his tight end in stride the score the night’s first touchdown.

Marchiol replaced Garrett Greene, who left the game in the first quarter due to injury.
