MORGANTOWN, W.Va – With West Virginia and Baylor about to get underway, the Mountaineers will be without another notable player tonight.

Tight end Mike O’Laughlin, who has struggled so far this season after looking to rebound from injuries derailing his 2021 camping, is in street clothes and will be out. O’Laughlin has only recorded 5 catches for 66 yards on the year.

In addition to O’Laughlin’s absence, WVU will be without star freshman running back CJ Donaldson. Head coach Neal Brown made it known that Donaldson has cleared through concussion protocol and could return to action next Saturday in Lubbock, Texas to battle Texas Tech. Donaldson had to be carted off the field in Austin and was later diagnosed with a concussion.

Cornerback Charles Woods could also be back next week. He’s been out since leaving the Backyard Brawl early and then having surgery on his injured ankle.
