WVU Welcomes Home In-State Wideout Tyshawn Dues
Tyshawn Dues inks his name for West Virginia, making it official by signing his National Letter of Intent to WVU on National Signing Day.
Dues resides in Hurricane, West Virginia, and played for the high-powered offense at Hurricane High School. Dues has been a staple to the offensive firepower of Hurricane High, leading them into the state semifinals this upcoming weekend.

Dues is another consensus three-star recruit across the board. On3 Sports and 24/7 Sports have graded Dues out at 86. They have also labeled Dues in front of fellow signee Zah Jackson as the number one overall player in the Mountain State, while 24/7 Sports has ranked Dues as the number two overall player behind Jackson.
The Mountaineers were in early on Dues, offering him in July of 2023. WVU gained his commitment in September of 2023, and was able to fend off late offers from Appalachian State and Toledo.
Dues also held offers from Miami (Oh.), Kent State, and Akron, amongst others.
