Yendor Mack Joins Unproven Defensive Line | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.
Yendor Mack earned a three-star rating as a recruit for his play on the offensive line, but WVU Football’s coaching staff likes how he attacks quarterbacks more than how he protects them. Standing 6-foot-3 and 288 pounds, he already has the heft he’ll need to match up against opposing interior linemen, but there’s always room for young recruits to build strength and hone their skills.
Joining a defensive line room with 15 other players — six of them with four years of eligibility remaining and five of them from lower levels of the sport — Mack will join a youth movement that has plenty to prove. As such, he could challenge for playing time if the Mountaineers’ lack of experience shows.
55 • Yendor Mack, freshman defensive lineman
Last Year: N/A
Stats: N/A
Post-Camp Outlook: Mack enrolled at West Virginia during the spring semester, giving him an early taste of Division I football.
Projected Role: At 288 pounds, Mack already has the bulk needed to play the defensive line in college. While a redshirt year to get his body up to speed isn’t an absolute necessity, he probably won’t play much in 2026 in a crowded defensive line room.
Accolades, Highlights: A three-star recruit in high school per 247Sports, Mack earned that rating for his play on the other side of the ball. Now he’ll switch from the offensive line to the defensive one.
