2025 four-star G Jeremiah Green tells WV Sports Now that he will officially visit West Virginia on Oct. 21. Green will be in Morgantown during the West Virginia-Oklahoma State football game.

Green (6-foot-3) is a prospect from Denton, Texas who now plays at Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. Green has received offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Maryland, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Rice, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Texas Tech, Troy, USC, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others. Green has visited Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and TCU so far.

Green is regarded as a top-75 prospect in his class by all of the top recruiting databases.

West Virginia’s coaching staff has been in contact with Green since they extended an offer to him back in July 2022. WVU interim HC Josh Eilert visited Green in Texas last fall and reached out to the 2025 prospect during the first day of direct contact.

Green averaged 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals during his 71 games at Denton High School. As a freshman, Green appeared in all 36 games for the Wildcats.

“[WVU] likes my two-way ability and playmaking along with scoring,” Green said last July.

Green models his game after his favorite NBA player, Ja Morant, as well as all-star Bradley Beal. The rising junior uses his athleticism to get to the rim as well as create his own shot.

“I can do a little bit of everything. But I feel like I can be a two-way point guard who’s athletic, makes plays and rebounds at a high level,” Green said.
