In the Holler: 4-Star WR Havyn Searels Reveals Insight From Communication With WVU Football

To learn more about the WVU football staff’s relationship with four-star wide receiver Havyn Searels, WV Sports Now spoke with the 2028 recruit ahead of his visit to attend the Arizona game.

Searels opened up about how constant his communication with West Virginia has been and if he’s heard from head coach Rich Rodriguez himself. While wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett has been Searels’ lead recruiter, when Rodriguez gets directly involved, it usually means the Mountaineers are serious about wanting a player.

On Wednesday, Searels revealed that he will be in attendance on Saturday afternoon when the Mountaineers battle Arizona in a pivotal Big 12 game.
