MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – In a game for No. 5 Baylor where they’re looking to prevent a three-game losing streak, they will have to do it without leading scorer James Akinjo. Akinjo, as well as freshman Jeremy Sochan will not play against West Virginia on Tuesday.

Akinjo was listed day-to-day by head coach Scott Drew on Monday, after injuring his tailbone against Texas Tech last week. Akinjo has been great for the Bears after transferring from Arizona, leading the team in scoring with 13.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists.

Baylor will also be without Sochan due to an ankle injury.
