BREAKING: Konate declares for NBA Draft, signs with agent

Moments ago, West Virginia University released a statement that junior forward Sagaba Konate will officially declare for the NBA Draft and sign with an agent.

Here is the official statement:

Konate has had a great two plus years of playing in a Mountaineer uniform and set the school blocks record at 191 career blocks. Although, it is very unlikely that he returns to Morgantown, it is still an option if he goes undrafted and does not sign on with a team.

Head coach Bob Huggins hopes to fill the void of Konate with incoming freshman five star Oscar Tshiebwe. If Konate does not return, there will be three scholarship spots available.
