BREAKING: JUCO guard Tajzmel Sherman commits to West Virginia
Just moments ago, Bob Huggins and his staff picked up a commitment from class of 2019 JUCO guard Tajzmel Sherman of Collin County CC. Sherman chose West Virginia over SMU, Utah and regular season Big 12 champions Texas Tech.
Sherman averaged 25.9 points per game along with 4.8 rebounds a game, while shooting 47% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc. The 6’4″ sophomore is an attacking scorer and will certainly help solve the issues on the offensive end in 2019-20.
Sherman becomes the second commitment in the last week for the Mountaineers joining fellow JUCO guard Sean McNeil.
