Mountaineers in the Pros
WVU Product Kyzir White, Eagles Come Up Short in Super Bowl Loss to Chiefs

After leading his team in tackles in the NFC Championship Game, Kyzir White was unable to have that kind of impact in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles linebacker and West Virginia product registered three tackles and one assist in the big game on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough for Philadelphia. Kansas City won Super Bowl LVII 38-35, claiming their second title in four years and denying White a ring.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs mounted a comeback in the second half, out-scoring Jalen Hurts and the Eagles 24-11 in the third and fourth quarter.
Despite coming up short on Super Bowl Sunday, White did cap off a stellar season as the 22nd different Mountaineer to reach a Super Bowl.
