Meet Best Virginia’s TBT Opponent: Brotherly Love

Best Virginia will open the first round of the TBT Pittsburgh regional against Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation on Saturday afternoon. Let’s take a look at Brotherly Love’s roster.

The head coach of Brotherly Love is Stan Laws Jr.

A couple of connections West Virginia fans could make about this roster. Donte Greene played at Syracuse during the 2007-08 season, recording a double-double in a loss to the Mountaineers as a freshman. Langston Wilson was teammates with ex-Mountaineer Emmitt Matthews Jr. at Washington.

Best Virginia, which is highlighted by former Mountaineers, will play Brotherly Love on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center. Click here to look at Best Virginia’s roster and schedule.

This will be the first time since 2020 that Best Virginia won’t host their own regional, playing in Charleston and Wheeling the last three summers. Pitt’s alumni team, The Zoo Crew, will do the honors of hosting their own regional this summer at the Petersen Events Center from July 20-24.

The Basketball Tournament is a 64-team field, which the winning team takes home $1 million.
