OL Lamarcus Dillard in Position to Learn From the Best | WVU Football All 105

All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

A three star recruit out of Maryland, Lamarcus Dillard stands 6-foot-3 and tips the scale at 295 pounds. He committed to became a Mountaineer in June of 2025 over offers from Pitt, Miami, UCF and Virginia Tech, among others.

The Mountaineers were one of the first Power Four programs to offer Dillard, doing so in January 2023 during the Neal Brown regime. Despite the change in leadership, new head coach Rich Rodriguez and company still managed to bring Dillard into the fold.

It’s now up to Dillard to impress his coaches, including legendary offensive line coach Rick Trickett, enough to earn playing time. But either way, he’s now in a position to learn from the best in the business as his college career begins to take shape. He can play guard or center.

Last Year: Dillard played guard and center for coach Messay Hallemariam at the football powerhouse, (No. 1 team in Maryland and No. 2 nationally) St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, which typically plays a national schedule.
