WVU transfer guard Joe Toussaint is considering a return to West Virginia after the announcement of Josh Eilert being promoted to interim head coach, he told CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Toussaint entered the transfer portal on Friday, leaving WVU after one year. Toussaint has heard from over 14 schools so far.

Toussaint (6-foot) transferred from Iowa after three years under Fran McCaffrey and inserted himself in a six-man role for Bob Huggins. Toussaint averaged 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in all 34 games for the Mountaineers. Toussaint had memorable performances against Pitt, Iowa State and Texas Tech this past season.

Toussaint has one year of eligibility remaining.

WVU currently has 10 players on roster as Toussaint, Tre Mitchell and Kerr Kriisa all showed their portal intentions.
