Twitter Reaction: WVU Basketball Fans Relieved to Finally Have an Answer

The nightmare of uncertainty is now over for WVU basketball fans. After spending some time conducting a national search for a new men’s basketball head coach, director of athletics Wren Baker and the West Virginia program decided to promote Josh Eilert and name him the interim choice for next season.

As expected, this news generated a big reaction, mostly full of people relieved to just finally know who the head coach will be, even if only for one season.

HC Josh Eilert…..it's going to be great or it's going to be easy to let him go at the end of the season. Recruiting for 2024 is not going to be great with that kind of unknown at head coach. The portal will be key for WVU moving forward!
